As a leader in the conveyor pulley manufacturing business, CPM Engineering has been contracted to work on projects1 involving some of the biggest players in the mining business.

For example, CPM worked on a contract with the world's leading diamond company, De Beers, for their Orapa 2000 expansion project in Botswana. The company recently completed a major contract for Anglo Platinum's Potgieterust for Vhumbanani projects and have also just been awarded a large contract by BHP Billiton via DRA for the Dmo project in Middelburg valued at R28 million (approximately US$3 million). CPM Engineering is also working on the Sentinal Project in Zambia, valued at approximately R28 million.

In addition, CPM Engineering is busy with a contract for Phola Coal (Anglo Coal) through DRA and the Ngezi Project for DRA, as well as a project for Sandvik for Zimplats in Zimbabwe. CPM previously worked with Sandvik for Areva's greenfield Trekkopke uranium mine in Namibia, in a contract valued at R11.7 million (approximately US$1.3 million)
